Aura tier list - best to worst

Ranked by rarity, using the same odds shown in-game and rolled against in the tool above. Two auras share most tiers, so a β€œLegendary” roll could land you either Kraken or Solar Fin - both are equally rare.

AuraRarityOddsWhy chase it / when to reroll
LeviathanMythicweight 0.2The chase aura. Leviathan lands at roughly 1 in 500 rerolls - roll it and you've basically won the game's flex meter.
KrakenLegendaryweight 0.8Worth stopping to admire. Kraken and Solar Fin still turn heads in a lobby full of Common bait.
Solar FinLegendaryweight 0.5Worth stopping to admire. Kraken and Solar Fin still turn heads in a lobby full of Common bait.
VoltageEpicweight 2.6A real step up from the starting tiers - Voltage and Stormcall are a fair mid-grind target if Legendary feels too far off.
StormcallEpicweight 1.9A real step up from the starting tiers - Voltage and Stormcall are a fair mid-grind target if Legendary feels too far off.
FrostRareweight 6The first tier that actually looks different at a glance. Fine to keep if rerolls are scarce.
TideRareweight 5The first tier that actually looks different at a glance. Fine to keep if rerolls are scarce.
KelpUncommonweight 16Not bad, not a reason to stop. Reroll again if you've got spares - Kelp and Current are a floor, not a goal.
CurrentUncommonweight 12Not bad, not a reason to stop. Reroll again if you've got spares - Kelp and Current are a floor, not a goal.
RippleCommonweight 30What everyone starts with. Ripple and Pebble are the default bait skin - reroll the second you get the chance.

How rerolling actually works

Rerolls aren't unlimited. Most of your supply comes from redeeming codes tied to Roblox like milestones - BAITAURA and 2500CCU both pay rerolls right now, and the devs have been dropping a new one roughly every 500 likes. The rest trickles in from normal play.

Because the jump from Legendary to Mythic is steep (about 1.3% down to 0.2%), the efficient approach is to reroll freely out of Common and Uncommon results, get pickier once you land Rare or Epic, and only keep rerolling past Legendary if you're specifically hunting Leviathan and have rerolls to spare. Burning your entire stash chasing Mythic from a cold start is a good way to end up back at Common with nothing left to show for it.

Per-aura chase guides

The three auras actually worth committing rerolls to each have a page of their own, with the odds broken down and what the grind costs before it lands.

Not sure you have the rerolls for any of them yet? Add up what the working codes fund before you spend a single one.

How we tested

The odds shown above are the rates the game itself displays for each rarity tier. The Aura Roller above uses the same weighted table to simulate pulls client-side, so the tries-to-first-hit numbers you see when you roll are a fair preview of the real in-game pull rate - not a made-up animation.

FAQ

What is the best aura in Be a Fish Bait?

Leviathan is the best aura - it's the sole Mythic tier and sits around a 0.2% roll rate. Below that, Kraken and Solar Fin (Legendary) are the realistic top target for most players since Mythic is rare enough that chasing it exclusively can burn through rerolls fast.

How do you get more rerolls in Be a Fish Bait?

Rerolls mostly come from codes tied to like milestones (BAITAURA and 2500CCU both pay out rerolls right now - check the homepage codes list, since new ones drop as the game hits new like counts) plus whatever the game awards through normal play and daily logins.

What are the odds of a Mythic aura?

Leviathan, the only Mythic aura, is displayed in-game at about 0.2% per roll. That's roughly 1 in 500 rerolls on average - some players get there faster, some grind well past that before it lands.

Is it worth rerolling out of a Legendary aura?

Generally no, unless you're specifically hunting Mythic. Legendary is already the second-best tier at a combined ~1.3% rate, and rerolling it away resets you back into the full Common-heavy pool with no way to protect what you already have.

Do auras affect gameplay or are they just cosmetic?

Auras are part of the Aura Maxxing update and change your bait’s appearance and bonuses - they’re not purely a skin. Higher rarities are the ones worth showing off, which is exactly what the roll-and-share loop below is built around.
